Police officer Gao Junan from the Hewan Forced Labor Camp in Wuhan City, Hubei Province brutally torture Mr. Wang Yulin, a 26-year-old male resident of Shiyan City, Hubei Province, who worked in Wuhan City.

The group forcibly injected substances into Wang Yulin’s muscles. They also pulled the cold water on him during the bitterly cold winter, wear wet underpants, and stand for so long that his legs became numb and lame. The police also instigated the prisoners to harass and verbally abuse him continuously by accusing him of pretending to be lame.

In addition to this, they restricted Wang Yulin from using the toilet. Sometimes Wang was forcefully pulled away from the toilet while urinating. This long-term and continuous torture has physically destroyed a strong and healthy young man. Wang Yulin is very thin now, and he has scabs all over his body, as well as digestive tract hemorrhaging, reduced blood platelets, low blood pressure, and diarrhea, which he has had for several months. When Wang Yulin had diarrhea one night, the police forced him to report to the prisoner on duty. Wang Yulin had to rub his abdomen with his hands to ease the pain, and to wait until he could use the toilet the next day.
