Print  E-mail
Ms. Tang Jinmei, 71, was a resident of Shatianli of Zhangshu City. In November 1999, Ms. Tang was detained at Zhangshu City Detention Center in Jiangxi Province for over seven months because she went to Beijing to appeal to the government to stop the persecution of Falun Gong. She was finally released after paying 3,000 Yuan for bail. In 2001, she was detained in a brainwashing center in Zhangshu City for more than three months. During her detention Ms. Tang was forced to do military drills and was tortured until she vomited a lot of blood. The brainwashing center realized that she was on the verge of death and sent her home. In February 2002, shortly after her release from the brainwashing center, Ms. Tang passed away.
