Victim:

Mr. Tuo Wanxue, male, in his thirties, a resident of Guang'an City, Sichuan Province. He worked for the Sichuan Huaxi Group Provincial Construction Company prior to 1998, and later operated a dry-cleaning store near Jule Road in Chengdu City, Sichuan province.

October 21, 2000, in Yinchanggou, Pengzhou City, in the greater Chengdu area, Sichuan province, China.

Brief Description:

On October 21, 2000, Mr. Tuo Wanxue was visiting other Falun Gong practitioners at Yinchanggou, Pengzhou City, in the greater Chengdu area, when the police abducted them.

Tuo Wanxue was then imprisoned at Chengdu City Detention Center. According to those who had been imprisoned in the same place with him, he was sentenced in September 2001. But after that, there has been no further news about him, and his family has not be able seen him since then. Despite his family and friends’ numerous and varied inquiries to the detention center, different government people and offices, no one has provided any information of his wellbeing.
