Ms. Zhang Zhumei Died as a Result of Persecution
Print  E-mail

Ms. Zhang Zhumei, female, 43, was a staff member of the Educational Materials Printing Factory of Tongliao City, and a resident of Tongliao City, Inner Mongolia.

Within one year of learning Falun Gong, Ms. Zhang’s health greatly improved. After July 20, 1999, she went to Beijing twice to appeal to the government to stop the persecution of Falun Gong. Each time, she was arrested. Because she continued practicing Falun Gong, the local government constantly went to her home to harass her.

As a result of constant harassment, her health deteriorated. She died in early 2005.
