A Brief Report of the Incident:

In 1999, Ms. Yang Jianmei went to Beijing to appeal to the government to stop the persecution of Falun Gong. She was arrested and sent to the Changle Mental Hospital for several days (the hospital where Falun Gong practitioner Su Gang was tortured to death).
