A Young Falun Gong was Sexually Abused, Father was arrested for seeking the Justice

Ms. Hu Miaomiao, a kindergarten teacher, was arrested for her practicing of Falun Gong. She was sexually abused at the Hebei's Woman Labor Camp in Shijiazhuang City of Hebei province.

Their Story:

Ms. Hu Miaomiao, a single woman in her mid-twenties, was detained at the First Section of Hebei Province Women's Forced Labor Camp in Shijiazhuang City because of her practicing of Falun Gong. The section chief, Wang Weiwei ordered several inmates to torture her. They used some very basic but extreme methods, including sodomizing her with broom handles and their fingers. The torture caused tremendous damage to her both physically and psychologically.

Ms. Hu Miaomiao had also been sexually abused at the camp, which left her bleeding for a long time. She could not stand up straight or walk normally. She had to move slowly to the restroom with the help of a stool. In order to cover up their crimes, the camp authorities would not allow her to have contact with anyone. Her situation is very concerning.

Her father Mr. Hu Mingliang heard of her tragic situation, and rushed to the labor camp, demanding to see his daughter. He was not allowed in till January 11, 2011. Ms. Hu Miaomiao was unable to walk by herself or stand up straight. She cried and told her father of the tortures she had endured, and asked her father to hire a lawyer to help her.

Mr. Hu was determined to obtain justice for his daughter. He hired a lawyer and filed a lawsuit. The lawyer requested to see his client several times, but his requests were all rejected by the labor camp. Mr. Hu then filed a second lawsuit in Beijing with the Justice Ministry, Public Safety Ministry, People's Congress, Central Government Appeal's Office, and the Highest Procuratorate. When Mr. Hu returned home, the local police came to his door and threatened him not to persue the lawsuit anymore.

On February 24, 2011, local authorities informed Mr. Hu to come to visit his daughter. Upon his arrival that afternoon, the Huaian County police dragged Mr. Hu into a vehicle, took him to the Huaian County Police Department and interrogated him till the evening. They later took Mr. Hu to a place in Lijiayao Village in Huaian County and had him detained there.

On March 6, 2011, Mr. Hu?s son Mr. Hu Dongwei went to visit him and was stopped by the personnel who guarded the place. Later Mr. Hu Dongwei received a phone call from his father who asked him to leave him alone. Their current situation is unknown.
